CORNWALL

let us guide you

Welcome to our On-Line CORNWALL Guide

We have been publishing high-quality, independent Cornwall Guides for 30 years: Guidebooks, Tourist Map-Guides and Cycling Guides. We are now placing all our experience, know-how and energy into this new project. Below is Phase 1. The On-Line Guide will develop in parallel with our Guidebook but will in due course be far more extensive. Our intent is to retain the independence, free spirit and opinions of our books.

This On-Line Guide is designed to be User-Friendly.  There are three categories: Where To Stay, Where To Eat (& Drink) and What To See & Do. To find your idylic Place To Stay that fits into your budget and style just scroll down the page and admire the images and short description of each listing. If one takes your fancy you can discover more by entering their website. We have chosen these Hotels, Inns With Rooms and Camping/Glamping sites because we believe they are the best. We do not contemplate listing the norm, the average…

A SAMPLE OF THE MUST-SEE, MUST VISIT beaches.

YOU HAVE NO END OF CHOICE.

Only The Best Will Do - When Time Is Short...

Cornwall is Britain’s Number 1 holiday destination and has amassed all manner of places to eat, drink and be merry. Our selection of cafes, farm shops and seafood restaurants is highly selective. Our job is to save you time and money and to direct you to the best of the best. We welcome feedback. The one drawback of being the No 1 holiday destination is that during the bedlam of the 6-week summer holiday efficient staff (usually students) can be tricky to find. So, please be patient with the cafes, pubs and diners you patronise.

The beach and the coast path still remains the major attraction for the scores of visitors that come to Cornwall year on year. For those of you who are not so well versed with Cornwall’s many attraction we have recommended what we consider to be the best beaches, harbours and sections of the coast path worth exploring. Indeed, you may well be advised to purchase a copy of our Cornwall Guidebook which will direct you on a path of glorious adventures and rich memories.  Enjoy!

This is where you can book your hotel room, your luxurious B&B or Inn With Rooms , and where you can plan to walk a portion of the southwest coast path, visit a beach, organise a surf lesson, visit a garden or National Trust property and discover an amazing cafe with sea views…It’s all here!
